Breann is the co-founder of One Step at a Time Therapy Center. Her focus is working with adults and couples. She provides a neutral, nonjudgmental and compassionate environment that helps you throughout your journey of becoming a better version of yourself. She helps clients work through issues related to anxiety, self esteem, communication and life transitions, to name a few. She has experience working with interracial, lesbian, gay and straight couples. She helps with issues such as communication, trust, infidelity, finances, parenting and family.
She uses the Gottman Method and Imago Dialogue to help couples make lasting changes.
Jaqi is the co-founder of One Step at a Time Therapy Center. She has over 20 years experience working with children, teens, and adults. She focuses on establishing a trusting relationship through compassion and non judgement, using a variety of techniques tailored to each individuals needs. She works with anyone that is willing to work on themselves and can help you develop a deeper understanding of oneself, gain new perspectives of one's past and present situations, provide support, and be an agent of change in one's journey to happiness. Jaqi uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Psychodynamic approaches, Motivational Interviewing, among other evidence-based approaches.
Meged earned a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from The College of New Jersey.
He takes a culturally sensitive approach to his work and draws from a number of different perspectives including cognitive-behavioral therapy (challenging unhelpful thoughts and beliefs), narrative therapy (looking at the stories we tell ourselves), mindfulness (noticing what we are experiencing in the present moment), and existential therapy (finding meaning in life).
Meged believes that healing begins when we have a compassionate and non-judgmental space in which we can freely express ourselves and feel understood. He strives to provide this space for you.
Hannah is a Licensed Associate Counselor who offers a safe, non-judgemental, and compassionate space for people to explore all areas of their lives. She utilizes an eclectic approach to tailor treatment to each individuals' needs. Hannah is dedicated to helping people develop the tools necessary to maintain healthy and fulfilling lives.
Kerrianne is a Licensed Social Worker who has worked extensively with youth and their families on behavioral challenges related to ADHD, Autism, self-harming behaviors, anxiety, depression, video game addiction, anger, family conflict, and peer relationship challenges. She utilizes a mixture of techniques including Applied Behavioral Analysis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Play Therapy. She is passionate about helping people reach their goals by providing compassion and empathy to those she works with.
Stephanie is a Licensed Associate Counselor who works from a person-centered and cognitive behavioral framework and uses different approaches, such as dialectical behavioral, mindfulness, solution-focused, and relaxation techniques. She is a compassionate, nonjudgmental, warm, and supportive person who tailors therapy according to each individuals needs.
Marisa obtained her Masters Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University and focuses on providing a safe, supportive space for people to explore their personal issues, whether it's to discover your authentic self, improve emotion regulation, or work through trauma. Marisa uses a variety of approaches such as Solution Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, strength-based and mindfulness approaches. It is important to her that you feel understood and respected.
