Jaqi is the co-founder of One Step at a Time Therapy Center and is a Licensed Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults. She focuses on establishing a trusting relationship through compassion and non-judgment, using a variety of techniques tailored to each individual's needs. Jaqi works with anyone willing to work on themselves, helping them develop a deeper understanding of oneself, gain new perspectives on past and present situations, provide support, and be an agent of change in their journey to happiness. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Psychodynamic approaches, and Motivational Interviewing among other evidence-based approaches, and also offers couples therapy to support relationships.

Kerrianne is a Licensed Social Worker who has worked extensively with youth and their families on behavioral challenges related to ADHD, Autism, self-harming behaviors, anxiety, depression, video game addiction, anger, family conflict, and peer relationship challenges. She utilizes a mixture of techniques including Applied Behavioral Analysis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Play Therapy, as well as couples therapy when appropriate. Kerrianne is passionate about helping people reach their goals by providing compassion and empathy to those she works with.

Carolina is a Spanish-speaking, Licensed Social Worker who specializes in providing support to individuals facing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and stress-related challenges. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and strength-based techniques. Carolina helps individuals explore the interplay between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, working towards identifying practical tools to shift unhelpful thinking. She excels in working with those who are motivated to engage in self-improvement, ready to embark on the journey of growth and change, and open to learning new strategies that challenge negative thoughts and cultivate healthy emotional responses. Vincenzo is a Licensed Associate Counselor and a Licensed Social Worker who has dedicated his career to helping adolescents and adults grow into the remarkable people they aspire to be. Utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, he creates a welcoming space where you feel heard and understood, guiding you to gain clarity and insight about yourself. Vincenzo aspires to help people navigate their internal struggles through couples therapy and other approaches, ultimately charting their own path to becoming their best selves and achieving the fulfillment they truly deserve.

Sinthia is a Licensed Social Worker who employs a supportive and practical approach to help children, teens, and adults develop personal insight. She utilizes techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to provide real-life tools for addressing feelings of being stuck, drained, and not doing 'good enough.' Sinthia tailors therapy, including couples therapy, to meet each person's unique needs by paying close attention to their environment, culture, relationships, and what already works for them. Adam is an intern currently pursuing his Master’s degree in the Professional Counseling program at Seton Hall University. He is passionate about working closely with adolescents and adults on a variety of issues, including trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA+-related issues, ADHD, and anger. Adam often utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and draws from multiple approaches in his practice, tailoring his methods to meet clients where they are. He wholeheartedly believes in the importance of the client-counselor relationship and strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and accepting environment for his clients to fully explore their concerns. Additionally, he is interested in incorporating couples therapy techniques to support clients in relational dynamics. As he continues his journey, Adam aspires to become a Licensed Social Worker to further enhance his ability to help those in need.
