
Breann is the co-founder of One Step at a Time Therapy Center. Her focus is working with adults and couples. She provides a neutral, nonjudgmental and compassionate environment that helps you throughout your journey of becoming a better version of yourself. She helps clients work through issues related to anxiety, self esteem, communication and life transitions, to name a few. She has experience working with interracial, lesbian, gay and straight couples. She helps with issues such as communication, trust, infidelity, finances, parenting and family.
She uses the Gottman Method and Imago Dialogue to help couples make lasting changes.

Jaqi is the co-founder of One Step at a Time Therapy Center. She has over 20 years experience working with children, teens, and adults. She focuses on establishing a trusting relationship through compassion and non judgement, using a variety of techniques tailored to each individuals needs. She works with anyone that is willing to work on themselves and can help you develop a deeper understanding of oneself, gain new perspectives of one's past and present situations, provide support, and be an agent of change in one's journey to happiness. Jaqi uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Psychodynamic approaches, Motivational Interviewing, among other evidence-based approaches.

Kerrianne is a Licensed Social Worker who has worked extensively with youth and their families on behavioral challenges related to ADHD, Autism, self-harming behaviors, anxiety, depression, video game addiction, anger, family conflict, and peer relationship challenges. She utilizes a mixture of techniques including Applied Behavioral Analysis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Play Therapy. She is passionate about helping people reach their goals by providing compassion and empathy to those she works with.

Carolina is a Spanish-speaking, Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and stress-related challenges. Her approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and strength-based techniques. She helps individuals explore how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact, and work toward identifying practical tools to shift unhelpful think. She works best with people who are motivated to work on self-improvement, who are ready to engage in the process of growth and change, and who are open learning new strategies to challenge thoughts and develop healthy emotional responses.

Alyssa is a Licensed Social Worker who has helped younger and older adults adapt to major life transitions, navigate trauma, and manage experiences of depression, anxiety, identity issues, grief and loss, relationship issues, stress, and overwhelm. She believes that you are the expert of your own experience and she will walk with you through your difficulties. She offers a non-judgmental, accepting, and supportive space where to explore ways that can help you live a life aligned with what’s important to you.

Vincenzo is a Licensed Associate Counselor who has worked with adolescents and adults grow into the remarkable people they aspire to be. He has worked with a range of issues and populations from substance use, LGBTQ+ individuals, trauma, and veterans. He creates a welcoming space where you feel heard and understood, working to gain clarity and insight about yourself. Vincenzo aspires to help people chart their own path in becoming their best self while navigating internal struggles and achieving the fulfillment that is truly deserved.

Sinthia is a Licensed Social Worker who has a supportive and practical approach to helping children, teens, and adults develop personal insight and gaining real life tools to address feelings of being stuck, feeling drained, and feeling that they are not doing "good enough." She tailors therapy to each person's needs, paying close attention to their environment, their culture, their relationships, and what already works for them. She asks deeper questions to help safely explore uncomfortable topics.
Sara is a Licensed Social Worker who specialized in working with children, teens, and their families, including those with developmental and intellectual challenges. Whether the goals are we are improving Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), developing healthy coping skills, or navigating the stress of life transitions, Sara begins with where the individual is. Her mission is to help people overcome barriers so they can lead fulfilling, authentic lives. She specializes in supporting neurodivergent individuals by integrating sensory-friendly interventions in a warm, compassionate, and sensory-friendly space that respects each person’s unique comfort level - allowing them to grow and thrive. Her approach is client-centered and deeply empathetic.
She partners closely with parents, offering practical strategies to help their child flourish at home and in school. She uses an integrative blend of evidence-based tools tailored to the needs of the individual, including CBT & Behavioral Therapy (for thought patterns and skill-building), Motivational Interviewing (to spark personal drive), Solution-Focused Therapy (for practical, goal-oriented progress).

Adam is an intern who is actively working towards his Master’s degree in the Professional Counseling program at Seton Hall University. He is passionate about working closely with adolescents and adults on a variety of issues pertaining to, but not limited to, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, LGTBQIA+-related issues, ADHD and anger. Adam pulls from multiple approaches in working with his clients, often tailoring his approach to meet clients where they are. He wholeheartedly believes in the importance of the client-counselor relationship, and will strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and accepting environment for his clients to fully explore their concerns.
