Q & A

Do you accept insurance?

We are in-network with a few insurance plans. However, we work with ALL insurance companies as long as you have out of network benefits. Each therapist is in network with different insurance companies. The most common is Cigna.

What is the difference between in-network and out-of-network benefits?

Every insurance company offers their customers in-network benefits. Some insurance companies also offer out-of-network benefits. A provider who is in-network has a written contract with an insurance company stating that they can only accept the insurance companies "allowed amount." A provider who is out-of-network has the ability to set their own costs. We accept the allowed amount whether we are in-network or out-of-network.

What does it mean "to work with out-of-network benefits?"

Some providers may charge you the full amount up front and may require you to do your own billing. As an added service to you, we check all benefits and do all of the billing and follow up with insurance companies. We only accept the “allowed amount” and do not charge you more. For example, if you have an out-of-network coinsurance of 20%, we will collect the 20% of your allowed amount and bill your insurance company for the remainder. However, if you have a deductible you will have to meet that first.

How much will I have to pay with out-of-network benefits?

This depends on your benefits as every plan is different. Sometimes the cost is similar to that of your in-network benefits. We encourage you to know the cost and understand your benefits before making a decision. Contact us so we can get these answers for you
